Physio Inq Glenmore Park is proud to offer the Exos Bracing System from Enovis. The Exos system is a revolutionary, thermoformable technology that provides an adjustable, waterproof, and reformable solution for the treatment of fractures and other injuries requiring stabilisation.
Thanks to Exos' advanced technology, our experienced physiotherapists at Physio Inq Glenmore Park can mould the brace directly to your body for the best possible fit, comfort, and support. The thermoformable material is lightweight, waterproof, easy to clean, and radiolucent. It’s a much better alternative to traditional plaster or fibreglass casts, especially for non-displaced fractures. Exos braces and casts are made from polymer and foam, and they only take 8 minutes to apply.
Our patients benefit from the "no cast saw required" removal process, and the waterproof properties of Exos braces ensure easy skin and brace hygiene. Plus, they allow you to continue participating in water activities during your recovery.
At Physio Inq Glenmore Park we proudly use, sell, and advocate for Exos advanced technology as a superior alternative to traditional casting and splinting methods.

Cutting Edge Bracing Technology
Easily applied and removed
During application, the brace is heated until it reaches a rubbery consistency, allowing it to be gently moulded for a snug, comfortable custom fit. Over the next few minutes, the brace hardens to a firm, cast-like consistency, fully supporting the injured area. Using the Boa® dynamic compression closure system, the brace can be tightened or loosened as needed, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.
The Exos brace can also be easily removed without the need for a cast saw, allowing for easy examination of the fracture or wound site.
Waterproof
Exos products are fully waterproof and can be immersed in water for extended periods, allowing patients to continue daily activities like showering and swimming.
Lightweight and low profile
Exos material is 25% to 50% lighter than fibreglass or plaster, making the braces much more comfortable to wear. Their low-profile design allows them to be easily concealed under clothing, making them ideal for patients who find traditional casts difficult to wear.
Adjustable
Exos uses the exclusive Boa® reel and lace dynamic closure system, which allows for:
- Expansion to accommodate initial swelling and reduce the risk of compartment syndrome.
- Tension modification for a custom fit, even as soft tissue atrophies.
- Enhanced patient comfort and a better overall fit.
Antimicrobial and easily cleaned
Exos braces can be washed with soap and water, helping to reduce the buildup of bacteria and odours, keeping the brace hygienic and fresh.
